When Colonel Edwin Drake struck oil along the banks of Oil Creek in August 1859, few people in Titusville dreamed that the oil industry that began here would one day grow into a world-wide enterprise.

Drake Well Museum tells that story. Oil touches our lives every day in plastics, synthetic fabrics, medicines, gasoline and more!

Your students will learn how oil changed the world as they tour Drake Well Museum's exhibits, see working machinery, shop in the Museum Store, and walk along Oil Creek.

The Tour Packages Include:
• A Tour of Drake Well Museum, its replica, and working oilfield exhibits and Nitro Show
• Various educational stations featuring period demonstrators such as: coopers, blacksmiths, civil war soldiers, and other costumed re-enactors
